A strong and stable core is vital to help prevent injuries, not just in your low back but throughout your entire body. Another advantage to TRX is that you use your own body weight to adjust your personal fitness level simply by walking closer or further away from the anchor point. This keeps you constantly challenging your body through every exercise, minimising wasted time switching weights.

By using the TRX you can build muscle strength and size, challenging your body in a way it has not been challenged. TRX can strengthen all of the stabilising muscles around the joints needed to support a heavier weight, something that is not achieved by taking your body through a seated machine workout. TRX also helps in the fight against bone loss. The exercises on the TRX can be low impact while having the benefits of weight bearing exercises. You can add in a weight vest to make it even more challenging. The TRX helps you get in some ranges of motion you may not have been able to achieve before offering support while recruiting more muscles.

What is Tri-Planer Kettlebell Training and what makes it different to normal K.B training?

As Human Beings we move in 3 Planes of Movement/Motion: Forwards Backwards, Sagittal Side to Side, Frontal and Rotational-Transverse.

So unlike normal KB training, which is all on the Sagittal plane, Forwards Backwards Tri-Planer KB training involves all three Planes of Movement/Motion; exciting stuff!

Everything we do day to day involves theses three planes of movement/motion, but more often or not we do it poorly using incorrect form and posture, from picking up the kids and shopping to lifting from the ground up whilst at work. We tend to ignore these three Planes of movement/motion but we shouldn't as the damage we can cause our bodies is enormous! Think of a professional footballer snapping their cruciate ligament or damaging a disc in their spine when bending forward and twisting.

Vipr like Tri-Planer Kettlebell Training uses all three Planes of Movement/Motion

ViPR was invented by an ice-hockey coach whose team was consistently getting beaten by teams from the countryside whose players had manual day jobs such as farming, building and labouring. These jobs all involved lifting, pulling, shifting, throwing, carrying and tilting on all three Planes of Movement/Motion.

Thus the ViPR was born; an innocent looking rubber tube that comes in various weights and lengths with different hand positions and grips. Users perform many great moves that can be regressed and progressed and it's suitable for all abilities and ages.

Circuit Training is an awesome way to improve mobility, strength and stamina whilst burning loads of calories from fat especially when using a H.R.M.

You'll be training with your own bodyweight in a timed circuit or a sets and reps circuit. We can train Muscular Endurance/Fat Burn or make it harder to train for strength. Think of a Team GB Olympian or a member of the Armed Forces; they all make Circuits a massive part of their training and because it's so versatile it suits all abilities and trains you in various intensities burning lots of fat and carbs incorporating whole body movements using lots of muscles in a rhythmical motion.
